Harami is directed by Shyam Madiraju. The film is all set to premiere at Busan International Film Festival 2020 which will be held on 11th December. Harami is an Indo- American production feature film penned and directed by Madiraju. Set in Mumbai, the film is described as a hard-hitting, visually striking street saga of youth crime and broken destinies, love and redemption .
It is being claimed that Harami is the only Indian movie to be participating in the main competition at the festival this year, which is held in South Korea to introduce new films and first-time directors, especially from Asian countries.
Apart from Emraan, the film also stars Rizwan Shaikh, Dhanshree Patil, Harsh Rajendra Rane, Ashutosh Gaikwad, Machindra Ghadkar, Sarthak Dusane, Manish Mishra, Yash Kamble, Durgesh Gupta, Aditya Bhagat, Starr Liu, Diksha Nisha and Adil Khan in key roles.
